*RCR Sue's Curly Que

*Suzie Que, our three year old pony mare, has started her ground work with us and is just starting to be lightly saddle trained. With her quiet disposition and sweet nature she is very easy to handle and will make us an excellent therapeutic riding mount for children who have horse allergies. Our plans for Suzie are to cart and saddle train her over the next few years and have her as a child's therapeutic mount at Double J & D Acres. She will also be used as one of our brood mares once she reaches maturity. Her correct conformation and wonderful temperament makes her a great addition to our breeding program. Suzie has McKay pony bloodlines and it is thought that it even goes back to one of the original Curly pony stallions of the 1950's, *Curly Jim. Suzie will be bred to our Stallion *Lex in spring 2009 for a 2010 foal. Here is Suzie's photo page.

Bucky's Sweet Baylee EB

Herb Irwin has graciously added Bucky's Sweet Baylee EB to our breeding program this year. Baylee comes to us from Ellen Bancroft's breeding program in WA USA. Baylee is a smooth coat registered Curly Miniature horse and was sired by *Pirate's Little Buccaneer who is now living in Wales UK. Both Baylee's sire and dam are pinto's and come from a long line of pinto blood. With Baylee's pinto lineage  we are hoping for some colourful foals from her over the next few years.
