One of the best things about the Curly horse is it's diversity. You will find that they come in a variety of sizes, disciplines, colour and coat types. This is what makes them so unique. Many people don't realize that Curlies come in almost any type of coat; tight (Brillo-pad) curly coat, tight ringlet curly coat, soft wavy curly coat, bunny soft swirly coat, and completely straight coat. At Double J & D Acres we have 8 Curlies and each of them have a different coat type than the other. Even though the coats have different curl expression all of our coat types have hypoallergenic qualities. Below are the different coats you will see at our acreage. See our video on Curly coats
